At Joy And Ink, we believe every child is a hero — and every family deserves a team of allies.
Our mission is to walk beside families facing life-altering illness, bringing light, creativity, and connection through every chapter of their story.
Blending Arts in Medicine and Geek Therapy, we transform hospital halls into comic-book worlds, create moments of joy that transcend treatment, and build lasting support that continues long after care ends.
Whether it’s a superhero wellness visit, a Mini-Con inside the hospital, a day of laughter at Comic-Con, or resilience and grief support guided by our mental-health professionals, Joy And Ink stands with families from diagnosis to healing — reminding every hero that their story still shines.

MINI-CON EVENTS
We bring the magic of Comic-Con into the hospital — complete with real-life superheroes, creative workshops, and joyful escape. Mini-Con reminds every child that even in treatment, their story is filled with power, laughter, and hope.

Our Hero Ambassadors visit children during treatment to spark conversation, imagination, and comfort. These bedside visits turn ordinary hospital days into heroic ones, proving that joy can fit in any room.

Heroes On The Run
Joy And Ink Presents: “Heroes on the Run” – Our First-Ever Charity 5K!
Get ready to lace up, suit up, and make a difference! Joy And Ink’s Heroes on the Run is a superhero-themed 5K timed race for competitive runners, followed by a family and friends walk/run, taking place on Sunday, March 29, in Tampa.
All proceeds raised will support Joy And Ink’s mission of providing joy, strength, and connection to hospitalized pediatric patients, as well as post-care support for families who have experienced the loss of a child.
Whether you run, walk, or “fly” your way through the course, you’ll be helping uplift pediatric families when they need it most.
